I need to find a service manual for a Panasonic SA-VKX20
Hello! My parents gave me this Panasonic SA-VKX20 audio system for my birthday. I connected it, but it won't turn on and is making strange noises. Does anyone know if I can fix it myself, if I need a manual, or if it's a serious malfunction?

Last year, my roommate and I chipped in and bought the same system, and we had a similar problem. It turned out that, before connecting it to the mains, you need to check the voltage switch on the back panel. This is mandatory for GA/GS models. I found this information in the user manual for Panasonic SA-VKX20 , which describes the procedure for checking and adjusting the voltage switch in detail. Use a flathead screwdriver and set the switch to the correct voltage for your region: 110–127 V or 220–240 V. If you don't do this, the system can be seriously damaged. After that, everything worked fine. I will now look at the instructions in the manualmachine more often.
